Paolo Consorti has been travelling Europe extensively with his exhibitions, and is included in the top 100 list of young artists "Young critics vote young artists" published in 2008 by the FlashArt magazine.

His works combine painting and photography (to which he lately added videoart), and bear a strong presence of symbols connected to themes like sex, nature and religion. His colours are sharp, and he bends shapes to convey a sense of movement.

A sort of sensorial bombing, where the contrast is between painting traditions and digital culture, and between echoes of old artistic practices and contemporary aestethics.
“Images that tells contemporary fairy tales” – says Consorti about his own work, which often brings to the surface apocalyptic or baroque moods, populated with ordinary looking people.
