Vanni Cuoghi was born in Genoa in 1966. In 1985 he graduated in Pictorial Decoriation at the Istituto Statale d'Arte in Chiavari (Ge).
In 1989 he graduated in Scenography at the Brera Academy in Milan.
He was a finalist for the Premio Cairo in 2007 and he recently took part to the Saint Petersburg and the Praha Biennale. Vanni Cuoghi is one of the most interesting Italian painters: so much so that his name was mentioned in the 2008 Flash Art list.
He currently lives ind works in Milan.
