Andrea Sergio was born in Brindisi in 1978. Since 1990 he is known as Wany, and with this nickname he signs graffitis on the walls of his city. After some years he specializes at the "International School of Comics" in Rome, and starts painting in several meetings all over Italy.

After lots of Writing, Rap and Break dance in Rome, he moved to Bologna in 2000 where he worked as Art Director at Dynit, one of the most important publishing houses of the Japanese cartoon and comic books. He is invited to many street art meetings in Croatia, Germany, England, Belgium, Holland, Spain, France, Bosnia, Switzerland and USA, where he paints together with some of the major world Writers. In this period Wany has been doing advertisements for Nike, Adidas, Coca Cola, D&G, Timberland, Wolkswagen. He moved to Milan in 2005, where he began to experiment also with the canvas.

Recently he has been featured in “Sweet Art Street Art”, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi at the Milan PAC, at the Dorothy Circus Gallery in Rome and at the Mac Museum in Sao Paulo, Brasil.
