Silvia Argiolas has been included among the finalists of Premio Celeste in 2006, and in 2008 ranked also among the final list of the Italian Factory Prize for young Italian painters.

In spite of her young age (b. 1977), she already exhibited regularly in several group and solo shows in and out of Italy.

Her canvases show atmospheres of romantic, mysterious and menacing outdoor landscapes, telling a fantasy fairy tale, where the characters are children with vulnerable eyes. They are usually trying to cope with awkward troubles, expressed by the artist through hybridations, symbolisms and totemic hallucinations.
