Notwithstanding his very young age, Daniele Giunta is already a very promising Italian artist. Signalled by the Jury of the Italian Factory Prize for the Young Italian Painting 2006, he is in the FlashArt top 100 of young Italian artists according to young Italian art critics and editors.
His painting is subtle and delicate and describes a world made up of poetry ("My colours taste of rainbow"), peopled by ghosts, fairytales (also noir) and visions. Italian critic Ivan Quaroni said about him:
"The most important aspect of his work is his ability to produce an original painting, with free shapes fluctuating between abstraction and figuration so as to dilute the handwriting accuracy of the drawn line into the ink sea of his landscapes".
