The exhibition, curated by Igor Zanti and promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be hosted from 7h January to 20th March 2011 by the Indian cities of Mumbai, Kolkata and New Dehli.

The exhibition's purpose is to identify the legacy of Duchamp and of Dadaism on the Italian Neo-pop and to better define the Neo-pop movement itself.

The choice of India is not casual at all: this country actually represents a sort of return to origins for the involved artists, since its aesthetic conception is often characterised by a pop connotation.

"Dadaumpop" features works by 27 artists (Andy and Stefano Bolcato are among them): through different modalities, they all deal with the different aspects of the Neo-pop.
