Laurina Paperina is Person of The Year 2008, according to the readers of the newspaper Trentino.

The artist has manage to win the contest on the newspaper's website, which is the local issue for the Trentino region of the publishing house "Gruppo Espresso". She received the highest numbers of votes - almost 4000 - and competed with other 12 persons.
Laurina Paperina has been collaborating extensively with Smartarea during 2008, and has produced a series of limited edition t-shirts and gadgets.
