From the 9^th to the 12^th September 2010 the Shanghai Exibition Centre will welcome the ShContemporary 2010, one of the most important fairs on the scene of Asian contemporary art.

This edition of the event, in which a large selection of Asian and international galleries will take part, is focused on the theme of the relation between artistic value and commercial value. This topic highlights the difficulty of giving a precise price to art, whose meaning, on the contrary, is neither clearly defined nor easily accessible. The theme, which is of great interest not only for artists, but also for curators, art dealers and collectors, is dealt with in the exhibition “Re-Value”, curated by Mami Kataoka, Manray Hsu and Colin Chinnery.
