All the languages of art. At the modern and contemporary art fair in Verona, Smartarea will launch - for the first time in Italy - the link between art and iPad. Andrea Contin will draw digital works for the visitors. From the 14th to the 18th October.

Smartarea will show works by Stefano Abbiati, Silvia Argiolas, Stefano Bolcato, Stefano Cagol, Andrea Chiesi, Roberto Coda Zabetta, Andrea Contin, Vanni Cuoghi, Eloisa Gobbo, Pierluigi Lanzillotta and Davide Nido.

From the 14th to the 18th October Smartarea will be at ArtVerona 2010 (stand M21 - Padiglione 7), with many new works by its artists and with a pleasant surprise for those who like technologies.

Smartarea, loyal to its innovative approach and to its attention to new means of expression, will be the first Italian gallery to launch the link between art and the most recent among technological gadgets: the iPad.

At the gallery stand Andrea Contin, who recently took part in two exhibitions in Genua (a double solo exhibition with Ben Vautier and a group exhibition in Palazzo Ducale, promoted by the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo), will create digital works on iPad for our visitors, as well as meeting them for a freewheeling conversation about his own work (Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th; drawing sessions 11.00-12.30 and 16.30-18.00; open conversation: 18.00). Visitors can also admire the iPad works especially realised for Smartarea by Stefano Cagol, winner of the Premio Terna 02 (Megawatt category) and of the recent contest for a permanent installation at the South Trento junction. Recently he also showed his works in various solo exhibitions in Austria, Germany and in the USA.

All digital works will be on sale as iPad applications. An absolute must for those who want to have art close at hand all day long!
