The young Smartarea artist Stefano Abbiati will realise the cover for the CD of the 2010 edition of the musical context Rock Targato Italia.

Before him, the cover had been designed by Federico Guida, Davide Nido and Felipe Cardeña. This further acknowledgement asserts Abbiati as one of the most promising artists of the new generation, after Smartarea dedicated to him the solo exhibition “Mineralizzazioni”, curated by Gianluca Marziani and hosted by (con)Temporary Art last spring.

Rock Targato Italia is one of the most important showcases for the latest trends in the field of Italian music. Conceived by the producer Francesco Caprini, it launched many artists, such as Timoria, Marlene Kuntz, Estra, Unarazza, Scisma, Soon, La Sintesi, Ateche, Audiorama, Zero Positivo, Radiofiera, Zibba & Almalibre. The final of the XXII edition will be held from the 17th to the 19th September at the Rock club Legend 54 in Milan.
