E' previsto per oggi, 27 ottobre, presso la galleria Grossetti, il finissage della mostra di Lorenzo Puglisi dal titolo "Presenze". Proprio in occasione del suo quarantesimo compleanno!

Personale seguita dall'installazione di 6 dipinti di Lorenzo Puglisi ad Art Verona 2011 con buon riscontro di pubblico e di critica. Una pittura, quella di Puglisi, quasi monotematica, centrata sul ritratto, oli materici che si organizzano sulla tela come una sciabolata, il gesto che libera o cela una misteriosa presenza. Qualità e intelligenza pittorica tentano di contenere immense energie racchiuse nel profondo dell'uomo.

Don't miss the September issue of the magazine AD! It features an article dedicated to Smartarea, showing many works by our artists such as Abbiati, Bolcato, Chiesi and Cuoghi.

The article is written by Mario Gerosa, who in the following excerpt states: "In the last years a new contemporary art market asserted itself, a market made of young collectors looking for young art. Smartarea, the first Italian gallery to operate on the web, meets these new needs, by using all the potentialities of the Internet: the website itself, in which artworks are exhibited; Twitter, where artists talk about themselves and their works, YouTube, which hosts the Smartarea TV Channel. Founded in 2008, Smartarea tends to favour young Italian and international artists".

Smartarea chose to mark the publication of this article by widening its collection of artworks, which can be viewed on the gallery website. There are Stefano Abbiati's works, Stafano Bolcato's trademark Lego, Andrea Chiesi's stylistic perfection and Vanni Cuoghi's funny canvas, which are emblematic of his inexhaustible fantasy.

Smartarea presents an exhibition by Stefano Abbiati, curated by Gianluca Marziani. It will be on display in the halls of MyOwnGallery, Milan.

Mineralisations will be on display at MyOwnGallery, in Milan, from16 to 30 March 2010. The exhibiiton takes place during the opening days of MiArt, the Milan Art Fair (26 to 29 march 2010), and is featured among the events of conTemporaryArt (22 to 30 March 2010).

www.abitaonline.it è un sito di architetti e decoratori che offrono on-line un servizio di progettazione di qualità a basso costo, dedicato a chi vuol risparmiare ma non vuol rinunciare al bello. Abita offre consigli piccoli e grandi, dal progetto di ristrutturazione completa della casa ai suggerimenti per l'arredo.

“Abbiamo pensato a un metodo di comunicazione semplice e veloce“ dice Giuseppe Colucci, socio fondatore di Abita. “I clienti ci scrivono compilando un form sul sito, raccontano le loro necessità, inviano foto e piantine catastali e, nel giro di pochi giorni, ricevono via mail o via posta il nostro progetto, completo di piante tecniche, immagini foto realistiche e consigli d'arredo”.

Creatività e innovazione indagano un campo ancora sperimentale, ma in ascesa: il rapporto cliente-architetto interamente via web. Molteplici i vantaggi: il progetto “light” offerto da Abita è bello, costa poco, arriva in fretta e consente a tutti di dare forma, a costo contenuto, ai propri desideri.

Laurina Paperina is coming.

The Smartshop - the coolest online art-gadget store out there - is almost ready, thanks to a new collaboration Smartarea-Laurina Paperina.

The duck artist with a human touch is working on a series of brand new drawings, which will be used to print badges, stickers and arT-shirts, on sale here in Autumn 2008. They will be available on Smartarea only, in a limited edition, and will be sold in a special packaging designed by Laurina herself.
